Did you visit the site because you want something to be different in your life??? Are you curious about what might be possible now in your relationships with your partner, family and friendships, educational goals, finding work/career that lines up with your present day goals (or maybe you don’t even know what you’re present day values are?), parenting, community and spirituality? Perhaps after a tremendous amount of personal growth and healing, you might be experiencing the thought that you might want / deserve more? Or, have you realized you want your parenting style to better match who you first envisioned yourself to be, maybe without all the impatience and yelling out , before exhaustion and work began to make it more difficult.

If so, you’re in the right place. That’s where I get to help. It can be different!

I get to accompany as YOU change your life!

It may sound simple.

At times though, it can be some of the most intense, but satisfying work you do for yourself and for your family and those important to you.

I offer life coaching in several areas including:

  • Post Traumatic Growth – it’s an exciting area of development as more research proves that we can rewire our brains. We can overcome adversity. We grieve the true losses that we’ve experienced, the things that will never be, the cost of surviving. AND we look to the future, learning what is important to us, what our values are, and then the steps we take to move forward. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT,  we work together to develop goals that deeply resonate with who you want to be as a person with meaning and purpose, and then creating committed actions that move us along the path of our valued living.
  • Parent Coaching – learn how to become regulated, thus helping our children, adolescents and young people learn to regulate themselves. It can teach us how to stop yelling and reacting.
  • Career Coaching – especially useful after recovering and healing from our trauma histories. What do we want to do with our lives? What are we interested in? What are our strengths?
  • Mindfulness Coaching – this is much different than meditation. It is a practice developed to learn how to notice what is happening in our thoughts and feelings, thus allowing us some space to learn to develop proactive instead of reactive behaviors.
  • Spirituality Coaching – often times, survivors find it difficult to reconcile their spiritual beliefs with the reality of what they suffered through.
  •  Group Coaching – Using a powerful but simple process, as a group we explore a number of domains of life and select those areas that are most important to us, and yet we find that we are not spending enough time to develop those areas. We’ll use a straightforward approach to create values statements beyond generic words like “dependable”, “kind”, “honest” and the like, but statements that deeply reflect who we want to be as a person, how we want people to remember us on our 80th birthday part – what kind of stories might they tell about us. And, finally we get down to the nitty gritty and create solid, obtainable committed actions that upon leaving the group that night, can institute the next day!
