Group Coaching

I use a powerful but simple process in a six week group. As a group, we explore a number of domains of life such as parenting, education, recreation, health and friendships to determine which areas are most important to us, and yet we find that we are not spending enough time to develop those areas.

We’ll use a straightforward approach to create values statements that go way beyond a simple values card sort with generic words like “dependable”, “kind”, “honest” and the like. Instead, we craft statements that deeply reflect who we want to be as a person, how we want our lives to reflect those values with meaning and purpose.

And, we frame it from the simple perspective of “How do we want people to remember us on our 80th birthday party?”– what kind of stories might they tell about us?  And, finally we get down to the nitty gritty and create solid, obtainable committed actions that upon leaving the group that night, can be instituted the next day

I absolutely love this work, powerful when it’s done one-on-one but over the top wonderful in a group setting!
